Sunburn Advisory
- Avoid booking a spray tan if you have had a sunburn within the past 6 weeks.
Exfoliate Thoroughly
- Exfoliate your entire body with an exfoliating mitt 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.Focus on dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles and feet.
Skip the Retinol
- Avoid using retinol, AHA, BHA, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, or any products that promote cell turnover 7+ days before your appointment if you want to spray tan your face.
Shave or Wax in Advance
- Shave at least 24 hours before your appointment, and wax at least 48 hours prior.
Timing Your Mani/Pedi
- Nails should be done the day before. If done after, soaking and exfoliation will strip the tan. Instruct technicians to skip all oils and lotions.
Avoid Moisturizers & Oils on Day of Spray
- Avoid applying lotions and oils on the day of your appointment.
Start with Clean, Product-Free Skin
- Shower at least 12 hours before your appointment with a mild, non-moisturizing soap. Don't shower right before your appointment.
- For facial spray tans, please arrive with a clean face, free of makeup.
No Deodorant or Perfume
- Avoid using deodorants, perfumes, or scented products the day of.
What to Wear During the Spray
- You can wear a black bikini/underwear, one of our complimentary disposable thongs (women only), or go nude. Choose whatever you're comfortable with.
Wear Loose, Dark Clothing
- Opt for loose-fitting, dark clothing and undergarments to prevent smudging or transfer. For footwear, flip flops, UGG's, or Crocs are great options; skip the tight shoes and socks.
- If it's raining, layers are essential to keep water from reaching and ruining your spray tan. Use an umbrella, a hoodie/long sleeve top (tuck in hands), long pants, loose socks, and closed, loose footwear. PRO TIP: Cut the top off socks if they are too tight on leg.
